Reading this poem, I couldn't help remembering the scene in "The African Queen" where Katherine Hepburn smacks her lips over her tin mug of rusty boiler-water tea with such relish that Humphrey Bogart remarks, "You carry on more over a cup of tea than I do over a glass of gin". Too bad I couldn't manage to read this in a Hepburn voice.
