Kristen has come up with a fantastic new look for the blog, and I've just finished putting it into place. Take a look at http://librivox.org and let us know if there are any problems with it, or ways it could be improved.

Hi guys, once again, fantastic job looks great. I have a few comments:

1. feedburner
i updated the feedburner feed - it now points to the right place. i think we should leave it as people seem to use it.

2. buttons
I added some librivox buttons in the feed section. any design thoughts on this...my pref: a few is ok, too many is too many

3. latest news and new releases ...
- can the shadeboxes extend to the bottom of the page? as is they are uneven..
- can the news section contain Headline plus more text, say 2-3 sentences?
-can we have more items in the news section? say 10?

4. post navigation
-when you click on a post, eg:
http://librivox.org/index.php?p=67

-the sidebar data disappears; can we get that back?
-the navigation (previous-main-next) is missing the "main"

5. colours etc.
-ok, i'm loathe to bring this up after all the work and discussion ... it looks great, but the background shade, especially in the "listen" section, is still pretty obvious on my machines

6. congrats again.

I am so impressed with what you guys have done that I would like to get a quote from you for doing something similar for me. I have two Wordpress sites and one regular Web site. I'd like to start with one of the Wordpress sites and see how that goes.

Take a look at http://www.southerncaliforniarealestateshow.com and you'll see how pathetic it is.

If you're interested, please email me at paula@compulsivecreative.com so we can talk more about this.

These items done.

I wonder if the right hand padding in the listen and news box needs to be a little bigger? To my eye the text gets too close to the edge of the box (Win-Opera).

a librivox volunteer just saw the new site, and commented that it reminded him of the very clear site from USDA: Have Hay? Need Hay?

clear and to the point!

Worked around for the headings. I didn't adjust the corners of the two buttons, but may have a stab at that later today.

Feel free to adjust it if you like. I don't have a Windows box to test on, so...

OK, I've moved 5px of the padding in each box from the left to the right (was 20 left, 0 right, now 15 left, 5 right). This leaves the total width unchanged, so it shouldn't have any side effects...
