Here's section 6. 12:36 in length.

Let me know of any problems. I'm still learning the ropes here.

Did you change the number, or did I completely mess up when entering your claimed section?? I just noticed I put you in for 6 when you claimed 7!

The reading is great! The sound quality is not, though. :? I took a quick listen to the poem you did for another project, and its sound quality is SO much better than this recording. Do you have any idea what the difference was? (This one isn't as clear, and there's some sort of background noise, similar to a TV or something being picked up.)

One thing you can do is run a notch filter set for 1450 Hz, and maybe Q = 3 or so. This will take care of the occasional whistle throughout the recording, but the rest of the background noise is probably such that cannot be cleaned out.

The only other note: there's about 3 seconds of silence at the beginning. Please delete this so you end up with 1/2 to 1 second.

Please do those two steps, then listen to the section (or a portion of it) yourself. If you're satisfied with the sound, then I'll be OK with it, too. :) But if you'd rather redo it and get a better sound quality, that works for me as well.

I'm new here, so I assumed that when the mc assigned 6 when you asked for 7, you take it and like it.

I re-recorded. Embarrassing to say that on the previous recording I did not notice that Audacity had defaulted back to the computer's internal microphone, and my headset was only functioning for playback. This one should be easier on the ears, but please let me know of any changes that should be made.

Ah, much better! I have no changes to note. PL OK - thanks!

And, no - the reader chooses what they want to read. It was my error alone that gave you 6 instead of 7. And now 7 has been claimed by someone else in the meantime. My apologies!

Hi, sorry it's been so long but my computer wiped all my files so I had to re-record. I'll post my sections this week (hopefully) or next (probably)
