I'm in the process of uploading my recording. In the MW, it says that we should write Gorham as 'gorham' in the ID3 tags - is that intentional?
Thanks
Anna
Yes. lower case is what we wish. Remember to ask if anything is unclear of confusing or just seems silly.

Hi Chris. Welcome to LibriVox. I have assigned sections 3 and 11 to you (note not section 2).
You have a great recording voice and all your tech specs are fine except that your track is in stereo and we need it in mono. Easy to fix. So before you record those two sections, please change this test to mono or make another and upload it with the name of test 2 or something, and post the link in this forum so I can see it easily. Once you have done that and I've given the official OK, you may record lots and lots for us. !!! Ask if anything is muddy or unclear.
Oh, and how would you like to be credited in the catalog? what name? most of us use our real names but it is up to you.

Hi Phil. Thanks! Here is the link to the mono recording. Please let me know if you need me to update or change anything. I note that you assigned 3 & 11 and will wait until you clear the test to move forward. I'm fine with you using my real name for the credit in the catalog. Chris Moland. Thanks!

Big news everyone! Section 2, The Pool of TEars, has been put back into the pool for anyone to claim! Yes, first come first served!!

Read about Alice swimming in a pool of tears ...
This is the LAST section in the book so don't procastanate too much. Let's get Alice out of that hole and back with her family.

Hi SUnny and a big welcome to LibriVox and this project. You may certainly read section 2. Please ask if anything at all is confusing or seems strange; we use a lot of jargon here and it can be bewildering to newcomers. But we are a friendly bunch of people and don't mind answering nything. Most of the information about file names, formats and stuff is in the first post of this project.
EDIT: I forgot to ask how you would like to be credited in the catalog; what name? Most of us use our real names but it is up to you.
