Which makes 949 projects so far in 2015. We have a good chance of hitting 1000, after a year's break. :)

And today we have released our 1000th project for 2015.

Congratulations, everyone!

ETA What I wrote before was rubbish, of course . Last year was the first year since 2009 that we HADN't hit 1000. Sorry about that!

Memo to self: think about what you are actually writing.

Seeing as the forum shows Jan 1 already, a statistical summary would be interesting to see :)

A little bit extra on Stats ...

Time
2015 total recording time: 5,866 hours (2014: 5,824) with an average of 5h45min per project (2014: 6h03min).Time is as per the catalog - which I know is not correct for some projects

Longest recordings:
Rise and Fall of the Confederate Government, Volume 2 Davis , Jefferson - 30h15min - Group
Summa Theologica - 10 Pars Secunda Secundae, Treatise on the Theological Virtues: Faith, Hope, Charity Aquinas , Saint Thomas - 27:12:37 M.S.C. Lambert, LC (awesome solo effort!)

Shortest recording
Isha Upanishad read by Jothi Tharavant 6m04s.

Language
Language recorded for the first time:
Telugu (1 book)
The first Maori project is still unfinished.

Languages Recorded
Projects in 20 different languages were completed in 2015 (2014: 13) bringing the total number of recorded languages to 36 ("multilingual / mixed language projects count as one language). Incomplete projects in Maori and Indonesian (Bahasa?) will be the first published project in those languages.
