I can't log on to the uploader for some reason. When I do, I'm taken to the opening librivox page. Can you help? Thanks.

Chapter 16 was uploaded to lv

OK, I have your name on your catalog page! And, since you are familiar with narration, I won't worry about you too much!

The url for the uploader is https://librivox.org/uploader , is that the one you are using? When you are there, you should be able to put in the username and password, just as it is in this image.

Let me know if you have further problems with getting into the uploader page.

Hi Ann,

I got to the uploader, but now it won't take my mp3 file. It says that the file type is not allowed. I have made a new mp3 file just to be sure that it was the proper format, but still get that message. Suggestions?

The better place for posting test links is in the Listeners and Editors Wanted forum, but that's OK, I can do this one.

Wow, great recording! I'm really not worried about you! But, there are two technical issues that need to be address.

The big one is that your recording is in stereo, we need it to be in mono.

The next one is the volume. It is currently at 87.7 dB, which is in our acceptable range/ We are shooting for 89 dB, with a range of 87-91 dB. You are on the low end but fine. You just don't want to go much lower than that.

If you could fix the stereo issue, and re-upload a new test, that would be great. You can that here if you want.

Here is my second test. I used Audacity this time instead of Logic Pro, which will hopefully make life easier for both of us. Thanks for your patience.

Since I sometimes take extra time to do my sections (life getting in the way of recording), here is an update so you know where I am. The hefty Section 8 is recorded and I am now editing. Section 9 isn't that long but it may take some time to finish as I will be pretty busy the next few weeks. I will keep an eye on the magic window and if it looks like the project is winding down, I will give that back so the project doesn't linger.

Hope that is ok.
