I have entered some info into the "Listen" field, when it should have gone into the "Notes". I've fixed it now. I made a note about the filename so I won't forget to change it on the uploader once I get back there again - too tired now...

Thank you for watching my back Max! :D

There have been some unexpected changes for me (good ones) that will give me much less time for LibriVox between now an the first of the year, so I think it is best for me to relinquish my claim for Section 2, as much as I'd love to do it.

I'll keep this project in my bookmarks, and if I'm able to contribute later, I'll certainly check back in.

Thanks.

I'm not sure what to say: That I'm sad that you're off for the time being or that I'm happy about the positive changes in your life.

I guess I'll stick to the old and tried one: Thanks for letting me know!

Ava,
Here is section 1 - 18.51 - https://librivox.org/uploads/availle/artofkissing_1_rossiter_128kb.mp3

I read the "chapter subjects" at the beginning of the chapter, not sure if you wanted that in or not. It's easy to cut out if you want me to just start reading with the text of the chapter.

And your first post doesn't have "_128kb" on the sample file name.

It was a fun read! So glad you found this book.

Thanks Mary Ann; yes reading the chapter headings is great! Just so that people know what they're getting themselves into...

I keep forgetting the _128kb  thanks for reminding me, I'll add it...
Cheers, Ava.

Thanks Max. I'm surprised that was all there was. I tend to panic when Roman numerals start popping up in the text.

Corrected file uploaded.

p.s. Your panic at roman numerals certainly is not audible, you zip thru them with nary a hint of hesitation :D

Ah, that's because I can edit out the pauses where I am tying to think, is that v a 5 or a reference to verse, and is that xl or x1?
Thanks Max!

Hi there Jason (I can call you Jason rather than ygvwalgiya please?) and welcome to this project!

As I have seen that you uploaded your test already, I have assigned section 2 to you, have fun! But please wait with recording "for real" until you get an okay on your test, just in case there is something you need to fix.

For now, I have entered your forum name into the catalog, but you can have another one there, for example your real name, another pseudonym... It would be wise however, if you say a name in your recordings, to choose this one as your catalog name so that people who listen to you can find you. Oh, we can also link to a personal webpage, blog or such if you like. Just let me know.

That's it for the beginning, let me know if you have any questions. Have fun on here! :D

Hi Availle,
Thank you!
Jason would be fantastic, the name Jason Guan is preferred actually if you can make that work.

Thanks again,
Jason.
