Hi Rob,

very nice project

I just got my test okayed viewtopic.php?f=21&t=57660
and would love to claim Alfred Wood (I am female but dont know if my voice is ok for the part)

If you will have me I would like to be in the catalogue as BettinaR.

....and I will leave a couple of seconds between lines

Edit: just noticed that you maybe on vacation.......will wait patiently :)

Hi! Welcome to LV. Yes, I am on holiday but still with intermittent web access. I have made a note of your claim. If you submit your lines in the next couple of weeks, I may not proof listen to them right away. So, no rush!

Hi Rob,

thanks for your reply! No rush is fine. Enjoy your holidays.

I realized that BettinaR for the catalogue ist not a good idea (this is unspeakable :D ).
So I prefer it to be my forum name: rotgold

Thanks

Hi Rob,

I had to try it :D even if I will have to wait a bit.

Please tell me what I can do better, its my first ever recording after the 1-min-test.
I think I dont sound like a young man.....so please tell me if my voice doesn't fit in.

Sorry to everyone for my slow response. For some reason I wasn't receiving email updates, and so didn't think to check in during my holidays.

Anna - yes, please do read Mavor, That would be great!
David & Bettina - your parts are PL OK. Thank you!

Hi Rob,

I know you initially said you didn't want anyone to take multiple roles, but since this project seems to be moving a bit slowly at the moment, may I claim Mr. Hall and the Foreman of the 2nd Jury, since both are very small parts and neither appear in the same sections as Atkins? If that would be helpful, I can record both parts this weekend. I'd also be willing to do Baron Macauley, but I understand if that's too much. And if you'd strongly prefer to wait for different readers for everything, that's fine too. Just let me know. :)
Between being a full-time college student and working 20+ hours per week, I'm not able to be involved at LV these days, but I remain a loyal fan and look forward to a triumphant return sometime in the (probably distant) future.

Thanks for checking in and offering to take on those roles. I am going to wait for new readers though, if that's OK. I know this project is moving quite slowly, but that is fine for me at the moment because all the parts for my two plays came in very quickly at the end: I am now spending most of my time editing those. Plus I am co-BCing another play that now has all parts claimed, so I will have to start editing that soon, too!

Hello Rob, This is a beautifull project I would be pleased to participate by reading section 47, Octave Mirbeau. OK?

I have started to edit the sections for which I already have all the necessary parts.

Here is section 1: https://librivox.org/uploads/rapunzelina/trialofoscarwilde_01_anon_128kb.mp3

We don't have a DPL for the final sections at the moment, so if you would like to PL then please do!
