Hi Phil. Thanks for your help.

I recorded the one minute test using a different program, and this time the uploader accepted it. Here's the link: https://librivox.org/uploads/tests/test_jottens.mp3

The name I'll use is John Ottens.

Looking forward to hearing back from you!

You are good to go John and have the official OK to record lots and lots for LibriVox. There is a bit of background noise that could be reduced a bit but it is easy to do. Your voice sounds really fine for recording.

I recorded Section 32.
Here is the link: cyropaedia_32_xenophon_128kbs.mp3

It has been awhile since I recorded and hopefully remembered the proper settings and changes to make.

Thanks but I don't see that as a link. It should like like this https://librivox.org/uploads/philchenevert/cyropaedia_29_xenophon_128kbs.mp3

Could you upload it again please?

I'm excited to help out with this project.
If possible I'd like to do book VI, sections 25-28

25 Book VI - Chapter 1 Pages 166 to 174 Open
26 Book VI - Chapter 2 Pages 175 to 181 Open
27 Book VI - Chapter 3 Pages 182 to 187 Open
28 Book VI - Chapter 4 Pages 188 to 190 Open

Are there any nice places online which you normally go to to listen to the correct pronunciation of names / places?
Thank you!
Kane

And we are excited to have you join us Kane. You may have those sections. I don't know of any places for pronunciation, but please pronounce the title as specified in the first post "Cyro' to rhyme with Pie-rho. if anyone has any ideas for places to get pronunciation, just let the rest of us know, OK? If you want help, just post in this thread.
