I'm working on Abbe Faria. It's taking me a little longer than I thought it would to find the time to do it, but I have begun work on it and I don't want to abandon the part. Therefore, I'd like to request an extension. I'm sorry I don't have it done yet! I will get it done, however.
Here are Maximilian's first couple of chapters!

Here is the remainder of Danglars! Thank you for the clarification!
Chapter 115 has line coloring flipped for Danglars and Peppino for several lines, and there's an instance in 96 where it's colored for Danglars, but it's Madame Danglars who is identified as the speaker.
"But" asked Madame Danglars, looking at her husband with uneasiness "how could that..."

And by far, my favorite line of his was "And so I leave you as I found you, rich - but little respected."

Heheheheh!! Well, yes, evil litrtle B******* would be fitting:P I liked version 2 best:)HoosierMary wrote:Alright, so this first Benedetto chapter is VERY short (0:50), but I wanted to ask your opinion on it, Kristin. So, here Benedetto is a child. Later, obviously, he is not. I was wondering if I should play with the pitch to distinguish, like what Beth (Elizabby) does when she reads male roles. I could throw it up a tone or two for the child-Benedetto lines, and take it down a bit from my natural voice for the adult ones. Or, if you prefer the sound, I could leave them all natural, and just try to sound more annoying when I'm a kid (which is basically what I did here--he sounds like a total brat).

EDIT: Looking at 45 now. Scratch "brat" and insert "evil little b******."
EDIT AGAIN: Here's a sample so you can see what I'm talking about, since 45 is only one line. The first version here is natural, the second up a bit to sound vaguely like a creepy devil-child.

Obs, thanks! So many chapters, there are bound to be a few of them:PHoosierMary wrote:P.S. I just read Chapter 56 (still need to edit--quite enjoying it!) and noticed what I believe to be an error in the text prep:
There are 3 lines in a row in pink (indicating that they should be mine), which I think are actually the Old Man's/Bartolomeo's. They are on p. 10 and start with "Certainly I do."
Hmm, but I couldn't quite find the mistake here, they seem to be switching between blue/pink/grey?
Hmm, okay, I'll see when I PL:)raghaillaigh wrote:though my audacity project showed it is being recorded in mono, when I imported the FLAC file I produced back into audacity, it appeared to be in stereo, with one of the channels at an extremely low sound level. I just explained that because there still might be something weird about the sound. If it seems fine, then good!

Thanks, they are fixed:)HoosierMary wrote:Caught a few more mistakes in Chapter 81:
On page 4, a line marked for me should be for “fruiteress”:
"He lives at the end of the yard, on the left, on the third story."
On page 15, there's one marked for me that should be the narrator:
"thought the young man."
Of course! It's all yours:)mechanicalpoet wrote:Could I take Renée de Villefort? This is one of my favourite books.

I tend to think 2-3, a bit longer if the line is very longXenablue wrote:Hi I'm finally on to this. I recorded for Ch 29 but needed to ask how many seconds between lines you'd like to have for space.
That's fine, thanks for letting me know!michaelcjohnson wrote:I'm working on Abbe Faria.
