Whew! This one was pretty difficult reading - I think I need to take a break and do some lighter stuff...
What, and this is it? ;)

Well, you know, after Pilgrim's Progress, pretty much everything looks light... The Illiad, Encyclopedia Britannica, etc.... ;)

Hi thadine

How are you getting on with this? (just asking, not pestering - I'll be contacting all my meta project people) :)

I assume you're okay for storing the files; if not, send them to me via yousendit.com and I'll keep them for you until all is ready.

It's finished!

After sitting in the listeners area for 2 weeks without any feedback, I'm just going to say it's done :)

Short description:
This is a series of short messages written by the South African minister, Andrew Murray. They deal with the necessity and joy of surrendering our lives completely to God.

Hi thadine

Sorry - I _knew_ I'd seen your project somewhere! Well done for finishing it, that's great!

I see that Chip did not get back to you - that's weird, he's normally extremely conscientious about things he commits to do, and deadlines... I'm sure he'd be mortified to know you've given up hope... thing is that he's taking a couple of days off, but will be back on Tuesday.

Shall we give him until the end of next week to do it - I'll PM him about it, I'm sure he has just forgotten. Or if for some reason he cannot do it, we'll find someone else to do it by that time.

Would that be all right, or would you prefer to abandon the proof-listening and have it catalogued straight away?

I'm fine with whatever you prefer. I'm fairly sure the files are ok, but if you're more comfortable waiting, that's not a problem either. I'm sure the world can wait a few more days ;)

OK - just seems a shame to abandon it now you've waited so long. Let's wait until Tuesday to hear what Chip says. In the meantime, I'll start the cataloguing process! :) Thanks, thadine!

thadine, how would you like to appear in the LibriVox catalogue, and do you have a URL to which I should refer?

thadine - Chip wrote to me that he unfortunately will not be able to listen to it, after all. So I listened to the first two files and couldn't find a thing wrong with it - not a syllable out of place! :)

You read beautifully and you have such a lovely, mellow voice, too! It's not really my subject matter, but I was completely captivated...

I'm uploading to the catalogue right now, it should be finished sometime tomorrow. I'll let you know when it's done.
