Dramatized Bible Stories of the Old Testament by KJV ( - ).

This project is now complete! All audio files can now be found on the catalog page for this project: https://librivox.org/dramatized-bible-stories-of-the-old-testament-by-king-james-version-kjv/
Passages from the bible are brought to life with an array of voices. We have kings, warriors, prophets and much more.( Bria Snow)
casting is gender neutral unless marked in the MW.
    1. Is there a deadline?
We ask that you submit your recorded sections within 1-2 months of placing your claim. Please note that to be fair to the readers who have completed their sections in a timely way, if you haven't submitted your recording(s) after two months, your sections will automatically be re-opened for other readers to claim, unless you post in this thread to request an extension. Extensions will be granted at the discretion of the Book Coordinator. If you cannot do your section, for whatever reason, just let me know and it'll go back to the pool. There's no shame in this; we're all volunteers and things happen. Please do not sign up for more sections than you can complete within the two month deadline.
    2. How to claim a part, and "how it all works" here
To find a section to record, simply look at point 5. below at the sections. All the ones without names beside them are "up for grabs." Click "Post reply" at the top left of the screen and tell us which section you would like to read (include the section number from the left-most column in the reader list, please).
Important: Some parts appear in multiple sections.
Read points 6. to 8. below for what to do before, during and after your recording.
Casting will be gender neutral except where specified.
    3. New to recording?
Please read our Newbie Guide to Recording!
    4. Where do I find the text? Source text (please only read from this text!): http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/10
    5. Please claim roles (the numbers in the first column below)! Please note: All Librivox recordings are in the public domain. When you submit your recording, you will be placing your recording in the public domain as well.

If this is your first recording, please let me know under which name or pseudonym you'd like to appear in the LibriVox catalogue. We can also link to a personal website/blog.

Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

Some reason I decided to try to write fiction. And it sucked me far away from LibriVox into the world of writing, editing and blogging.

Please don't anyone claim anything until I've got the MW setup. It'll be complicated enough without that.

I believe that SweetPea and EstherbenSimonides have offered to PL. I will be editing and we will have different narrators for each story.

Kangaroo, I've probably got enough PLers now. You can do as many parts as you want as long as they don't overlap too much.

Jessie, thanks. If you want to help with the editing when we get to it that would be nice.

I assume you have enough editors right now, too. :)

Yes, but of course the question isn't whether I have enough editors now, but If there'll be enough editors when they're needed. I'm sure that there'll be lots of thing that you can do.

PLEASE DO NOT CLAIM PARTS UNTIL THE MW IS COMPLETE

MW is available for you to set up
a couple of points
You will need to change the instructions for the stage person - as far as I know there are no acts in the OT, (only in the NT- [a joke] :D )
I'd suggest that you made the filename for the roles much shorter - I would go for dbsot myself , really long names are hard to manager both for me and whoever is doing the editing PLing etc - they tend to not show the endings which is what you want
so not dramatizedbiblestoriesoftheoldtestament_[role]_[#].mp3 but dbsot_[role]_[#].mp3
