Khaghbboommm: PL Note Thank you for section 23. Very nice reading. You overlooked the following quote from paragraph 7 of the instructions.

"Please leave out footnotes or references in brackets unless they contribute to the understanding . By that I mean things like
(Abrege Chronologique de l'Histoire de France (Paris, 1775), p. 701.)

please leave out Jean Paul (Duc d'Orleans) please read , but ignore the brackets so Jean Paul, Duc d'Orleans, ...

Same with dates i.e. Quote: previous year (1792) becomes Quote: previous year 1792

This should make things easier to read and easier to listen to."

Those references and long french phrase at 5:57 should be edited out. The start times for those sections are 3:36, 5:28, 5:57, 7:59, 9:41, 10:21, 12:16, 15:09, and 15:43. Make sure when you edit to start with the last one and go backwards. If you edit forward only the first time will be correct; that is a mistake you only make once. I know because I've made it.

When you re-upload make sure the title contains carlyle in place of jefferson as in this title.

Hello,

I would like to take section 27, if I may. I'm a newbie, but I'll try to do my best:)

Khaghbboommm: PL OK. Thank you for the very fast edit; editing out is always much easier than adding something. The section flows much better. I hope you will take on another section.

Thank you :D I'll fix these but do be careful with your file names - they need to match the first post. They have to stay together firstly in my folder - it's a long way from f to t when you have as many files as I do in your folder - and then on peoples mp3 players.

Mark: PL Note for section 25. Once again, nice clear reading.

dB level 93.8. Our goal is 89.0. You can lower it with "Audacity" or a similar program. This probably wouldn't be worth the effort of fixing it and re-uploading by itself but with the other fixes it is easy to do.

00:21 after the chapter name please put in "part 1."
07:59 to 08:21 quite noticeable auto background noise. I leave it to your judgement what should be done--leave it or re-record that segment.
21:29 the following was omitted "—having found them naught, worn out, far from the reality? She will make away with such formulas;"

Feel free to send me a PM if you have any questions.

I took out a rather bigger section - because I could hear insects in the background (too close to an open window!). The length is now 21.40.
