I'd like to read #24 - The Reverend Micah Sowls for a start.

I'm a newbie and if all goes well and some sections are still available, I may try taking on some more later. Can't think of a better way to start off with LV--love these ballads!

Hi KD and welcome to LibriVox and to this project. I have assigned that ballad to you but please wait or your 1 minute test to be approved first. BTW, I just listened and you have a wonderful voice and all the tec stuff right, it is just a bit too loud. I'll check your second test when it comes in.
EDIT: what name would you like in the catalog? Most of us use our real names but it is up to you.

KDMoore -- re. #24

I have uploaded a new test: https://librivox.org/uploads/tests/test_kdmoore_2.mp3

Let me know if I need to change anything before I begin recording. Please use my real name, Kevin Moore in the Catalog.

Many Thanks!

Would it be possible to request section 30, 'The Sensation Captain'?

Not only possible, but absolutely wonderful that you should ask. It is all yours. Have fun. Image
EDIT: if you haven't recorded anything yet, I would like to know how you wish to be credited in the catalog; what name? Most of us use our real names but it is up to you.

I haven't recorded anything yet. I'm happy to use my real name, which is Erin Louttit. Thank you for checking!

Hi Phil,
Just wondering about the status of #23 - Thomas Winterbottom Hance.
It shows up in the MW as claimed but without a reader shown. Is it for me or did I miss the boat?

You did not miss the boat. In between marking it claimed and putting your name in there, the boat noticed a shiny object somewhere and just wandered off never to be seen again. The boat does that a lot lately. tsk. Thanks for pointing this out.
