That's Feste the Clown, Act 1.

There's to be no laughing at my voice, unless I can partake of the giggles.

(just wait for act 2, I get to sing!)

Oookay, here's Feste the Clown, act 2. http://download.yousendit.com/B1AE058D22D91FD9

There are three songs in scene 3, two little ones, and one bigger one.

You said the clowns were supposed to be drunk, so I've done the first two in a sorta drunk-untuneful manner, but I didn't do the bigger, third, song, as I wasn't sure if that's the one you said was sung with others.

I'm quite happy to re-do the songs I've already done, and I'm happy to hear what you'd like done for the third (or all) of the songs.

It'd be MUCH easier of old Willie gave us some darned music, you know!

Now, if you don't mind, could you record yourself listening to the singing, as I'd be interested to hear just how long your laughing goes on when you hear it...

He's a smarty pants of a clown isn't he!?

I had a ball, thanks. I'm back in reading headspace now, I'll hopefully get my Persuasion read tomorrow :D

Here's act 4: http://download.yousendit.com/34A179214010AC99

And act 5: http://download.yousendit.com/BA6273985CBA2806

That's me done, except some more bad singing... Could you let me know what's still needed?

Oh, there was one section in act 4 where I wasn't sure if the lines were sung or said, I've sung them:

These are the lines:

CLOWN.
[Singing] Hey, Robin, jolly Robin,
Tell me how thy lady does.

MALVOLIO.
Fool,--

CLOWN.
My lady is unkind, perdy.

MALVOLIO.
Fool,--

CLOWN.
Alas, why is she so?

MALVOLIO.
Fool, I say,--

CLOWN.
She loves another-- Who calls, ha?

It seemed as if he was singing and Malvolio was interjecting with 'fool'... I'm happy to re-record it if it's spoken. (or even if it's just really crappy!)

By the way, you know it's really difficult to sing in a man's voice?!

Wow! You are a goddess!

So far everything sounds fantastic. And I'm sure these will as well.

And I think your singing those parts around Malvolio's interjections is a terrific idea. Great job!!

Thanks!

Could you re-record a line from act 5? It's:

"CLOWN.
Primo, secundo, tertio, is a good play; and the old saying is,
the third pays for all: the triplex, sir, is a good tripping
measure; or the bells of Saint Bennet, sir, may put you in mind;
one, two, three."

There's an odd skip in the middle of it, from editing I think. Not a huge skip, but it made it sound as though there was a line missing, though there wasn't.

Otherwise it sounds fantastic so far! Your Clown is priceless!

I bet it is hard to sing in a man's register. I'm pretty certain I couldn't pull it off, myself, but you did great!!

There's one hitch in the end of the act f song. The intro to act five (where you say the character and the act, etc) has been recorded there are well as the tail end of the song. Just an editing mix-up, I'm sure, and hopefully an easy fix.

i'm off to do a detailed listen to the other 4 files, and will let you know if there are any other fixes needed.

THANKS!

Oookay, the end of act 5 thing was an error, I neglected to delete the intro file after I cut it and pasted it at the front (had forgotten it in the first place!)

Here it is fixed: http://download.yousendit.com/4DE9CD676615580B

And here's the primo, secondo fix: http://download.yousendit.com/BDD32AB241474D54

In the first act, would you redo this line?

CLOWN.
Apt, in good faith; very apt. Well, go thy way; if Sir Toby would
leave drinking, thou wert as witty a piece of Eve's flesh as any
in Illyria.

You'd said pretty instead of witty. Not a big change, but an important one in this part of the play, I think.

THanks!!

The only thing that's left is an intro for Feste: "Feste, the clown, performed by..."

Oh, and how do you want your name listed in the credits?

Okey Dokey,

Here's Feste's intro:http://download.yousendit.com/38EFC75F374F5B4A

Aaaaaaand Last but not least, here's the last song "O Mistress mine"... http://download.yousendit.com/B8AEF35B72CB3711

Remember, no laughing. It's not easy for a soprano to sing in a man's clown voice! :?
