Great! Thanks, Alex. I see that this is your first recording but that your 1-minute test is awaiting feedback. Could you please let me know how you would like your name to appear in the catalog? If you have a personal website you'd like to include, please let me know that, too.mechanicalpoet wrote:I'll take First Valet (section 13).
It might be easier for you to wait until you get the OK on your test before you start recording, just to make sure you don't have to go back and re-do it. I've just glanced at your test, and I can already tell you you'll need to switch to mono sound (right now you're in stereo) and amplify the volume a bit. But someone who knows more than I do will be along to give you more detailed feedback.

Hm, the settings must not have saved. I'll make sure everything is good before I start recording. I need some time to read the book anyway.HoosierMary wrote:Great! Thanks, Alex. I'd like my name to appear as Alex Lane. I don't have a website.

Hey, general comment....I just realized that the European (death + 70) copyright for this work just expired with the new year, so now it should be PD for all.

Sorry for being neglectful of my PL duties, but life decided to get in the way. I will PL section 10 over this weekend.

Here they are, the links for Charles Di Nolli. This is my first time using Replay Gain, and I hope I have used it correctly! – Vin

Jeanie, let me know if you need help with PLing (and no shame if you do; I just don't want to jump in without asking and step on your toes. )

In the meantime, decided to assign myself one of the remaining secret counselor roles.

Alright, since we haven't heard from Jeanie in a couple of weeks I'm going to assume she's busy with real life, as happens. So I went ahead and PLed Ordulph.
PL notes Act I Ordulph:
~0:40: There's a weird cut in the middle of “papacy”, makes word unclear
~2:20: text says “No, you can’t set foot here.” You read “No, you can’t step foot here” This is REALLY minor. I wouldn't mention it at all if there weren't already another correction. So, your call on this one.
Act II: PL OK.
