And here is my spot on the first page - it soo helps if you set up the topic

My list from last year shows that I read or listened to an incredible 79 books (the second best achievement since I started in 2010), I'm quite proud! I even managed to read 4 books for LV last year (okay, short ones, but still) and I completed the author challenge 2014 (with quite some searching for an eligible X...) Anyway, let's see how things will go this year - I have lots of plans that should keep me rather busy...

I'll give it a go this year!

My trouble is that by the end of the year, most of the books have slipped my memory, especially the ones I returned to the library and forgot the title and author. ("That one that was about ..." doesn't help me pin it down for a list!)
So I think this suggestion of starting a post in January and updating it as the year passes is very sensible -- especially for folks like me with sieve-like memories!

My goal this year is to keep a record of what I read. I really have no idea how many books I read in a year. I think I will end up with at least 40 books.
I'm starting to think that I read lots more than I thought.

Do Hard Things by Alex and Brett Harris
Heaven Hears by Lindy Boone Michaelis
I Kissed Dating Goodbye by Josh Harris
Chasing the Dragon by Jackie Pullinger
Boy meets Girl by Josh Harris

Librivox Books:
Macaulay's History of EnglandChapters 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 20, 21, 22, 23

Narrative of an Expedition to Botany Bay By Watkin Tench

Library Books:
Winning Chess by Irving Chernev & Fred Reinfeld
Keeping Chickens by Ashley English
Sir Kendrick and the Castle of Bel Lione by Chuck Black
The cracking code book : how to make it, break it, hack it, crack it by Simon Singh.
Don't try this at home : culinary catastrophes from the world's greatest chefs
Outlining your novel : map your way to success by K.M. Weiland.
Secret messages : concealment, codes, and other types of ingenious communication by William S. Butler and L. Douglas Keeney.
Truth by Molly Evangeline
Courage by Molly Evangeline
Trust by Molly Evangeline
Captivated by Molly Evangeline
Resistance by Jaye L. Knight
The King's Scrolls by Jaye L. Knight

Over a hundred other books. I don't have time to list them.

The Cornet of Horse G. A. Henty
If I May by A. A. Milne
Several Robin Hood books.
not That it Matters by A. A. Milne

I'm getting bad at this. I'm mean I'm not getting much better. I started bad.

Dramatic Readings of Bible passages

Some reason I decided to try to write fiction. And it sucked me far away from LibriVox into the world of writing, editing and blogging.

Well, last year I learned not to make a goal of 100 books and decide to read mostly good old thick classics, so this year I will just keep on with the classic books, mostly Charles Dickens probably. And then of course there is lots to listen to on LV!

Total number of books listened to or read: 7

Good Old-fashioned paper books:

Audiobooks from Librivox:
The Second Latchkey by Charles Norris Williamson and Alice Muriel Williamson
The Barberry Bush and Other Stories by Susan Coolidge
The Thing From the Lake by Eleanor M. Ingram

Other Audiobooks:
The Lion of St. Mark by G. A. Henty

Books Proof Listened to:
Hard Times by Charles Dickens
The Last Stroke by Lawrence L. Lynch

Solos and Duets:
Little Meg's Cildren by Hesba Stretton

I can't read those colours very well, Tiffany. :? Now, I don't like Charles Dickens very much, so I'd be all for covering up the fact I was reading him ... but I think most people are nicer to him than that ;)
There's honestly no such thing as a stupid question -- but I'm afraid I can't rule out giving a stupid answer : : To Posterity and Beyond!

Yep, doesn't look as if I will be reading and/or documenting any books I've read at this point  Sorry for taking up this space!
