Sure! Sounds great. I'm going to need your name as you'd like it to appear in the catalog, and your url or blog if you want me to link to it.

So I've completed chapters 1 and 2 - they are located at the following address:

jrwmacdonald.com/wp-content/recordings/scarletletter_01_hawthorne.mp3
(file size: 2.95 MB - 3:14)

and

jrwmacdonald.com/wp-content/recordings/scarletletter_02_hawthorne.mp3
(18.7 MB - 20:30)

I hope I did it correctly as far as the technical aspects go? I'm not sure about whether the sound is at an appropriate level. I had to use the amplifier feature in Audacity. If its not I can boost the amplitude even more... As far as the recording goes - I did my best but I'll understand if you don't wish to include these files. Let me know. I have a thick skin.

My name: James R W MacDonald and my blog address is below

I have Chapter 20 read but don't have time to edit. Anyone just have a passion for editing?? I might have time in a couple of weeks but if anyone could do it sooner that would be excellent.

Would someone please tell me when this one is done so I can put Rachelellen's art up on the archive.org cd cover/album art page?

http://www.archive.org/details/librivox_cd_covers

(the art is already uploaded there, but I want to be able to link it to the finished catalog page)

I'll edit for you, Xander. Try to turn your mic input up a lot though -- your recordings for Earth to Moon were way too quiet and I had to boost them 10-14 dB :) PM me when you have a recording for me to edit!

And here is Xander's chapter:

scarlet_letter_20_hawthorne.mp3 (19.35 MB) (21:08)
http://www.mediafire.com/?6mjlj2jyjmy

I used mediafire because I couldn't get to Gesine's uploader today -- if mediafire gives you problems, let me know and I'll put it in my own webspace.

edit: turns out mediafire gave Xander problems, so here it is on my webspace:
http://kayray.org/audiobooks/librivox/misc/scarlet_letter_20_hawthorne.mp3

I proofed it after I edited -- it's OK and Ready to Catalog!

Section 19:

04:46 - repeated word: "as by a certain sympathy sympathy"
15:53 - "end of Chapter 15". Should say "end of Chapter 19"

Otherwise, JemmaBlythe, lovely reading.
Thanks for being so on top of it, Jemma. :D
