After sending a query message to John's account, I have recently received a response, but not from him. His significant other, a woman, had responded to me, notifying me of John's untimely passing away.
She explained to me that John had seemingly prepared the readings, all or some, but had faced trouble uploading them, and shortly thereafter he died. Here is her description of his regard to this work (with approval for sharing publicly):
I asked her, herself or with assistance, to locate the files or project files that are available, so that I can use them, for the project. She agreed, and has yet to respond with findings.I very much want to share with you, recording the poems was a beginning effort John made at putting together and utilizing a home, voice-over computer "studio", and it gave him immense pleasure to begin his journey with LibriVox. Literature and live Reader's Theatre was a lifetime passion for him. Recording for someone who cared enough to listen was the rebirth of hope for that passion, too long abused in the grind of a nullifying 9 to 5 way to pay the bills. He was very proud to have actually completed the poems - Baudelaire's not easy - with what he hoped was the sound quality necessary to use them, and I hope you are able to receive them somehow. But beyond that, the opportunity you provided him was a task that gave him much fulfillment at what was to become the end of his life (John was 52) and I thank you for that.
I just wanted to share this with you all.
