Just posted Plague Ship over in Going Solo. Will start recording as soon as I get back from vacation on the 19th.

I enjoyed Voodoo Planet when I read it...would love to listeen to it now I can't read printed books any more (and synthesized speech is soooooooo monotonous [read sleep-inducing]

). Anybody know if any of the other Solar Queen prequels/sequels (Sargassor of Space, Postmarked the Stars, etc.) are PD yet? I haven't gotten a chance to go over to the PG DP site to see what's going on.

Nope, they're not. Sargasso renewed, Postmarked and the rest were published too late to need renewals.

The only outstanding Nortons, are The two rebel books and The defiant agents at DP. People of the Crater, All Cats Are Gray, Murders For Sale, Mousetrap, By a Hair where I've not been able to find a copy of the first printing to verify. There might be more that I've missed.

Madness Update:

Just posted Oomphel in the Sky in Solo's. All the recording is already done and up on my server, ready for the Magic Window. Only needs to be proofed-listened and catalogued.

Omnilingual is finished recording, I'm still editing.

12 of 18 chapters of Plague Ship are recorded. I'll probably do all the editing on Thursday. Chapyer 1 edited in the Window du Majique.

For sure will do one more novel before the madness ends, most likely Voodoo Planet.

On deck: Tom Swift and the Visitor from Planet X.

When I was about 10, I got an entire New Adventures of Tom Swift set for like $3 at a yard sale. Read them all. The only one I remember was Tom Swift and His Ultrasonic Cycloplane (still available at Amazon), but since that isn't on PG as yet, this one will have to do. The Tom Swift books were one of Robert Heinlein's inspirations and my earliest exposure to sci-fi.

I just got a clearance approval for the short story "The Vortex Blaster" by Doc Smith. This formed about the first 25 pages of the novel.

Islands of Space, by John W Campbell just posted to PG as well.
