I fixed ones that I didn't like but i think the remaining ones are not noticeable/significant if you are ok with it. Feel free to bounce it back if you want it word perfect or if there are any changes that you would like made. (I didnt see a description of what level of P.L. you wanted.

This isn't a word perfect project (not many are). I'll PL this tonight - thanks for all your work!

I'm relieved its not word perfect  all of the mess ups are all mine and feel free to point out changes that would help. But, before you have to point it out i found a need for silence at 36.5 seconds, so i added a few seconds and re-uploaded to make editing easier!

You're my hero (should i say heroine) for taking on such a big task!
AND i'm really jealous of your being from a city I have heard so much about from Kerry Greenwood audio books!
Best wishes

Lovely job - the Third Doctor is all PL OK!

Please have a look at the links in my signature if you are considering doing more dramatic readings! Pilgrim's progress still has plenty of roles open, as does the Short Stories collection - there's Matthew Cuthbert going spare if you wanted to read a Canadian man?

Here's Jim Browner. :)

[edit] And both of Gregson's parts. My voice kept getting deeper, so I had to go back and redo some bits once I'd finished. Please let me know if anything sounds ridiculously mis-matched.

Here's Leverton. I tried to inject a bit of that stereotypical early 20th-century American detective shtick, without going over the top with it. Not sure how it played out.

PL OK! Sounded fine to me, but I'm not great at detecting differences in American accents - they all sound more or less the same to me, except the deep south.

And if you want to give your Brit accent another workout there are still some small parts left - but I understand if you want to concentrate on Eric Marshall. You're over halfway through Kilmeny, just so you know - there's only 19 chapters in the whole book!

These were both perfect! (And PL OK)

I listened to Chapter 5 straight after listening to the American bit of Chapter 5, and the accents are going to work delightfully against each other! Just what I was hoping for! :9:

The voice sounds quite consistent to me - I've got Jim Browner on my list to PL next, but that's a bit long to do right now. I'll come back to it as soon as I can!

(There is one more Sergeant role in Chapter 9, in case you felt like rounding out our contingent of policemen!)

Excellent, thanks.

Sure thing, I'll do the Sergeant as well. :)

Amazing! You are submitting these parts faster than I can PL them! This one is PL OK - and I still haven't done Jim Browner!

Is it my imagination, or does the Scot accent come and go? It seems more noticeable in this reading than in some of the others. I find UK regional accents so fascinating! Where are you located, and is your accent typical for that area?

Oh, and if you aren't sick of Sherlock Holmes yet, there's a baddie you might like - Mortimer Tregennis, in Chapter 10. If you don't mind being killed off, that is...

Jim Browner is PL OK! That's a pretty chilling tale. Somehow it hits harder listening to it than it did when I was just reading it on the page. Nice work!

Haha, I caricatured it a bit for the Sgt. I'm from Glasgow but my accent is more north-Scottish than Glaswegian (I get ribbed for sounding "posh"). Browner is my normal speaking voice.

Mortimer sounds fun, sign me up for that too. :D

Both of these are PL OK!

Well done - that first one in particular was not an easy read! If you are looking for more dramatic reads, Kilmeny of the Orchard and the Short Stories collection are looking for more readers! (Pilgrim's Progress is too, but I see you've already done some work for us on that one!) Links in my signature line.

Thanks for the quick PL! It is funny, but I have actually helped in some way in all the books linked in your signature except for Kilmeny of the Orchard! Thanks for the offer, but I think I'll spend some time PLing those completed chapters for you in the Scarlet Pimpernel instead, I'm curious to hear what happens next... :D
