Well, this one isn't actually a book title, but rather the narrator of a book. I was looking through Iambik, and saw a book narrated by John Green.

Me: OMG JOHN GREEN HAS READ FOR IAMBIK?! Cool!

Me 5 seconds later: Wait...that says John GreenMAN.

Not quite a misreading, but I saw:
Thirty more famous stories retold by James Baldwin
and thought - Oooh I didn't know James Baldwin wrote anything before 1923. I thought he lived much later.

It (sadly) turns out I was right, and a different James Baldwin was the author.
