It was a joy to read this. Ready for PL. It fails Checker as it is longer than an hour, but I assume you want it in one piece:

Thanks, Kurt. Yes it just makes it under the 74 min limit so I would prefer to keep it as a single file. MW updated, ready for PL.

Hey knotyouraveragejo,

Thanks for the support! I will definitely be asking questions as needed. This is some fantastic source material and I'm excited to submit a recording for the chapter I claimed. For the catalog, could you list "Srikar G" as my name?

Thanks!

I listened to The Grand Caῆon of the Colorado is Explored by John Wesley Powell. It was great. I enjoyed hearing you read this.

Hi kimbe117. This project has a DPL who will listen to all the sections. As noted directly above the MW in every project, in future

Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process unless you are the BC or PL. Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks.

Continuing the trend of first-time readers, could I have section 2, The Arrival at the Pacific?

Hi Bob. I've just marked your test OK. Section 2 is yours. :).

As this will be your first recording for Librivox, please have a look at the Newbie Guide to Recording and also read carefully through all the notes in the first post of this thread if you haven't already done so.

I'll also need to know by what name you would like to be listed in the catalog. This can be the same as your forum name, your real name or another pseudonym of your choice. If you have a personal website, that can be linked as well.

Thanks and welcome to Librivox. :)
