I'm also happy to take Sections 18 and 19, which I see are the only ones remaining unassigned.

Thanks, Richard. I've assigned them to you.

Section 5 just opened back up because the claim expired. Let me know if you'd be interested. That would be a lot of sections for you, so don't worry if you don't want it. Someone will come along.

I'd better do the ones I've got first, I think, rather than biting off more than I can chew! I'll aim to get Section 12 to you tomorrow.

Section 12 for PL: https://librivox.org/uploads/lynnet/paganandchristiancreeds_12_carpenter_128kb.mp3, duration 18:20. Interesting book!

Some points: 01:12 I read "question mark victim"
09:26 the Gutenberg HTML version has "to kill and cat a bear". The archive.org version has "to kill and eat", which makes more sense(!) so I corrected that.

I asked my librarian about the noise, and she said, "no one would come here
if they weren't allowed to talk out loud." So I read out loud.

Je lis à haute voix car refléchir fait trop de bruit!

Section 18 uploaded for PL: https://librivox.org/uploads/lynnet/paganandchristiancreeds_18_carpenter_128kb.mp3. Duration: 20:11. At 13:57 I didn't think Qing the bushman should be pronounced the same as Qing the dynasty and made a guess that the "Q" represents a uvular stop, but it is just a guess.

Section 12 PL OK. This is the first time I've heard you read, since I wasn't PLing Porto Rico, either. I enjoyed it very much. If 18 and 19 are still pending in a few days, I'll do them.
