Chapter 3 - Billy Whiskers Decides - PL OK - and thanks for getting us off on this new book.
I have a feeling Billy has not fully turned over a new leaf of there won't be all that many thrilling events in the coming chapters (circus or not).

I would be glad for you to make your LV debut here.

I've left some further remarks on you test recording. There are some things you can do to improve your audio quality, but you can still start right away.

I'll let you choose which Chapter you want to start with.
And, let me know how you would like to be listed in the LibriVox calendar -- real name, pseudonym or any nickname you wish. This is how you will be credited for all of your LV work.

If you haven't read the Newbie Guide to Recording, linked in point to of the head post for this project, I suggest you do so. There is a lot of useful information there. And, read all the instructions for this particular project. They are pretty standard for this one, but each project may have variations.

Looking forward to your first recording!

The very beginning should be
"Chapter 4 of Billy Whiskers At The Circus"
instead of
"Chapter 4 Billy Whiskers At The Circus"
but we can let that go. Something to keep in mind in future chapters.

Also the file should have been named
librivox.org/uploads/alg1001/billywhiskerscircus_04_montgomery_128kb.mp3
Why such a fuss over the filename? Scripts at Archive.org, which stores finished LibriVox books, reprocesses the files to make versions in a couple more bitrates; and if the file names aren't exactly right this process can go awry.
You can just rename your file and upload it again and everything will be just fine. (Or -- Larry might jump in here and say the file name can be fixed as a part of the prep-for-publishing - we'll see about that.)

Everything else about the reading is peachy-keen - it's just because of the file name I'm marking the chapter See PL notes for the moment.
