no kidding, this lawyer was a talker ! Seems like this Aaron Burr was the lowest sleaze there has ever been. I don't really know anything about this history, need to research it. I bet there is something on wikipedia about this guy.

Thank you, Alan, again PL ok.

And to all readers who claimed sections while I was off the radar, thank you so much for your continued interest in the Rover :9: This is already fully claimed again.

Usually I would start the next issue at that point, but I will step a bit slower these days until I am more recovered, so the launching will not yet happen right away.

Thank you also, Tricia and Todd, for updating the project in the meantime.

Aaron Burr was acquited of all charges dispite the efforts of Thomas Jefferson to persuade the US supreme court to convict him.
Blannerhasset had in fact left Ireland for the US to hide the fact that he had married his own niece, the wife mentioned in poem and speech.
So Burr was not the villain nor Blannerhasset the paragon they were made out to be by the lawyer

a very funny story, thank you Jim. And I pretty quickly figured out how the couple could be married without the priest crossing the river. 8-)

Nearly flawless, could you just cut one word please:

> at 0:26: (p. 361) you can cut "original" from the title. I don't want this included (see MW). I think the editors wanted to highlight their own and their friend's works with this ;) a bit rich considering they very often omit to credit the authors at all in the older texts. But it's not part of the title, so I think we can safely leave it out.

Thanks

thank you Gini, slowly getting back to my old strength, now the pain is manageable.

Your story was wonderfully narrated again and really hooking. I enjoyed it a lot and it was flawless from beginning to end.

Absolutely PL ok.

And as promised, here's the launch of the next part:

As interested as I am in this series, I am afraid I'll have to ask to be taken off of "The Last Voyage". My poor eyesight, try as I might, is having a hard time reading the text 😂

:( aww I'm so sorry to hear that, I really enjoyed your narrations. But I agree, the script is a bit challenging.

But do you know that you can magnify the page quite a bit in the archive scan ? I always do a double magnify and usually I can read it very comfortably then. As an example, here are two screenshots I made, this is the way I read the text. https://librivox.org/uploads/kitty/rover0123-voyage-2.zip

Would that be better for you to read ? You have to push twice on the magnifying glass in the bottom right corner under the scan window.

Meanwhile, I will release you from your claim again, unless now you want to keep it after all...waiting for confirmation on this.
