Finally, I hope, I can put the "dilation" vs "Dilitation" snafus behind me!

Both instances above are corrected. The three below are still the same...26:30, 32:10, and 34:57. Maybe you didn't save the file or something, but these three are still waiting for you:

26:30 the word "dilate" is omitted here:
"...we find that the objects we approach [dilate] exactly in the manner...

32:10
text: quality
heard: quantity

p.s. I don't have access to the MW, and I see you already marked this PL OK. If you want to make that call as BC, I guess you can.

Verla, There is indeed something strange going on with this file. Per normal, I correct errors from the largest time mark to the smallest. I have memories of correcting those you mentioned as being still outstanding. I had some difficulty finding the cited time marks, but I *did* find and correct the errors in my at-home PLing. They were all simple fixes. So I marked the file as PL OK. Precipitously, obviously.

OK, once more into the breach.

Thank you for being so assiduous. I hate to show my backside to everyone with my errors, but I want things to be done right.

That made me laugh.

I also had to tell you yesterday I was finishing up that story in Spanish, and it actually had the word "dilatación" in it! As I saw the word coming at me in the text, I was all tense: "Don't screw it up! Don't screw it up!"

I did a bunch of PL today. I expect to start on Sec. 11 and 12 tomorrow. #12 is so short I will probably try to do them both in one session. But we'll see.

Is it alright is I take Section 5? I've colored by a couple of numbers and may as well shade everything in.
These chapters are giving me even more respect for visual artists.

I was hoping that you'd take on this last colorful section! It's yours.

Marvin wrote: September 2nd, 2021, 6:17 am Hi all,
I'll be on board with section 16.
Thanks, Marvin I'll update the Magic Window after writing this messsage.
In my Faraday project you were kinda slow getting started, but your work product was EXCELLENT!
Glad to have you aboard.

You're allowed to request more than one section at at time. If you'd like to add Section 17 (German schools Part 2) you may do so.
I'll gladly continue with section 17 (being almost finished with #16).

"STRANGE" is not an adequate word for what I'm finding with my section 02. I just now downloaded the .mp3 file from the "Listen" link in the MW and found that ALL three of the "missing corrections" are present. All your PL Notes have been taken care of and uploaded. The .mp3 file in the MW had been fully corrected. Another Librivox mystery.

Bizarre...but I'm glad to hear it. I've had one other weird thing happen like this as a DPL, where I could hear like a scratchy static in the 5 sec. of silence at the end, and the reader couldn't. Then in another forum recently where I'm recording, there was an instance of the DPL, the reader, and the BC talking about differences like we experienced in your file. I would think in your case that I was just accidentally listening to an old version I had, but the fact that I heard 2 new and 3 old seems to preclude that. I alway rename the old version before I download the new for Spot PL anyway. A little leak in the multiverse? :hmm:

Anyhoo...I'll move on! Like...to editing section 12, which I've recorded, and recording section 11, both of which I owe you. Now that we're fully assigned, I don't want to be the one holding things up! 8-)
I'll be away April 16-22.
Voy a estar fuera el 16-22 de abril.
