Section 32 needs one quick fix, then it will be perfect!
The volume is currently at 80.9 dB, we need it to be around 89 dB. If you could amplify by about 8 dB, that would be great!
I had that on my last recording too how do I fix this please?
The first suggestion is to download Checker. You can run all of your recordings through it before you upload, so that you can make sure that all the technical stuff is where it needs to be. As far as fixing the volume for this recording, you can use Amplify, which is in the Effects tab at the top of Audacity. You would click the whole recording to highlight it, then you can run amplify on the whole thing. You could increase the volume before you record as well. There is a slide bar in the middle top of Audacity that has the microphone next to it. I would recommend sliding it little by little to find the sweet spot for you. If I remember correctly, that slider it a bit sensitive. You can go way too far very quickly. Try that and see how it works for you! I know that it takes time to get all your settings to the place where it is perfect for you. You will get there!
