There are only 3 repeats where you need to cut out one of the versions:

Here is the edited version. I forgot to give it one last listen to make sure I caught all the repeats!

The new time is exactly 15 minutes.
Thanks!

Section 9. Duration is 27:36.

I hope you're feeling better. Not sure if this is going to make matters worse, though.

Allen you entertaining story definitely helped to cheer up my mood. Kudos for the stamina to keep up with the Highlanders boisterous narration, so perfectly done in character. I loved it.

There are a few issues to correct still though. (I hope you watch this space for feedback, since this is the last section we are waiting for)

> the volume is over 95 dB (we accept between 86 and 92). The volume should be decreased by -5 to get into a good average. However there are three longer sections with dialogues which then would be nearly inaudible, so it's not so good to make it an overall decrease. Instead it's best to do this manually, leaving out the following parts:
> from 5:15 to 6:23: (p. 315) from "Indeed" to "Miss Barbara
> from 6:34 to 6:43: (p. 315) from "yes, perfectly serious" to "say to him"
> from 6:52 to 8:16: (p. 315) from "he can come over the wall" to "ever thought of marrying"
So highlight the parts around those time stamps and decrease volume with -5 only there

A few textual errors as well:

> at 0:28: can you please read the title plus author in the beginning (as I pointed out in the Magic Window) ? Here: "A tale of an old Highlander, by James Hogg, the Ettrick Shepherd"

> at 6:10: (p. 315) forgot to say "a shriek" in between "an old maid" and "Boig, I beseech you". I think Boig says this to enhance his narrative

> at 20:10: (p. 216) "and from thence to Douay in Flanders" – you say "Doucy"

> at 20:57: (p. 216) "and produced a register of his birth from the Catholic College of Douay" – same here

thanks

I'm hoping this takes care of everything. My setup is not the same in the new place.

excellently edited, it's all good and PL ok now. Thank you, Allen :9:

Now we're all set for the cataloguing process which I will launch right away.

Another Rover in the box, and a huge thanks to all the enthusiastic volunteers for this one:
Alan, Allen, EsoFlair, Faithann, Greg, Michael, Steve (and myself, for this barely-one-minute section  )
Hoping to hear you all in some future Rover issue again :9:

Will post the link once it's through
