Yes she is. But this is Ignatius, her boy friend who is filling in for her while she is quarantined. She tested positive and has to chill for a few days.

I uploaded Catherine and Frederick:
https://librivox.org/uploads/philchenevert/grimmsfairystories_07_grimm_128kb.mp3

There is a tinny sound, and I do not know how to fix it. I used click removal, noise reduction, and normalize. Is there something else I can do? Thanks for your help.

Paula
Hi Paula, Great variety of voices and admirable intonation on the sarcasm bits by Frederick!
Section 7 notes:

At 8:41 Please remove the repeat of "and Catherine became so anxious"

There is alot of static in the recording and quite a bit of background noise. Here are the written instruction for removing background noise in Audacity. You will probably have to do this twice. Once for the static and once for the repeating background noise:

Step 1 - Select a piece of background noise
Select a piece of background noise (no speech, breaths or other noises) in your audio.
In Menu click: Effect > Noise Reduction... A dialog will pop up.
Click "Get Noise Profile" The dialog box will close instantly.

Step 2 - Noise Reduction
Press CTRL-A / Command-A to select your complete recording.
In Menu click: Effect > Noise Reduction... again. Note: don't select "Repeat Noise Reduction" -- that instantly applies the default settings; you want to adjust the settings and preview the results before you apply the noise filters.
Set Noise Reduction (dB) to 12
Set sensitivity to 6.00
Set frequency smoothing bands to 3
Choose Noise: Reduce
Click ok

Please carry out the edits then upload the file using the same file name and post in this thread. If you need any more help please just ask.
Thanks, Christine

Thanks much!
Hi Carmen! Very professionally done! So many accents and voices! Different voices for each dwarf, Amazing!
Just two notes:
:18 remove "Read by Carmen Fulmer" as you stated that at end. (Hope I spelled your name right.)
7:33 should be "stays"; I heard "stockings"
Thanks,
Christine

I think that being a frog addled the prince's brain, or else why would he have married that princess?

Please let me know of any issues.

Thanks,

Dear Christine,

I fear this is no better. I did the noise reduction, which I had done before. Thanks for your help.

Hi Phil, I need to pass this on to you. Paula edited out the repeat but we cannot find a fix for the static. Any ideas?
