Dear Phil,

I uploaded Catherine and Frederick:
https://librivox.org/uploads/philchenevert/grimmsfairystories_07_grimm_128kb.mp3

There is a tinny sound, and I do not know how to fix it. I used click removal, noise reduction, and normalize. Is there something else I can do? Thanks for your help.

Thanks Paula. I will put this into the magic window for prooflistening. And I'll listen myself tomorrow for feedback.

Paula I listened to a bit of your track. There are some strange crackling noises that probably are coming from your microphone at different times. Don't get me wrong, it is understandable, but there is too much variation in loudness for my taste. Some spikes are clipped so a gentle compression would help. I suggest doing a short track with no editing at all and uploading it in this thread. Don't compress or de click or anything. Perhaps I can see if it is your microphone. By the way, what mic do you use? The proof listener will get back with the actual notes on y our track so don't change it based on my comments, ok?

Things may seem grimm for little snow white, but don't worry. She is resilient, and I think she will fair well in the end. :)
