Volunteers outside the USA: Carl Sandburg died in 1967. This person's work may still be protected by copyright in countries where copyright duration is determined by the author's death date. In Europe this is 70 years; in Canada it is 50 years; and in Australia it is 70 years for authors who died after 1955.
Source text (please read only from this text!):The theme around these poems is how poets expressed their ideas of love as well as the type of language used to convey said love through poetry; it also indirectly highlights how society may perceive love based on how those poets' values may have aligned with/against society during their era. All the poems revolve around a discussion of love through the language they used to describe their feelings of love as well as the images they paint through said language (whether it be expressed through older iterations of the English language or through more modern forms of the language, hence the year differences among each poet selected). IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the number of languishing projects on our server, we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't recorded anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).
Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process unless you are the BC or PL. Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

======================
Dear Librivox team,
I would like to introduce you to our project. Students from Weill Cornell Medicine – Qatar (a U.S. medical school in the Middle East) recorded high-quality spoken poetry in soundproof rooms at Northwestern University in Qatar with the support of the Qatar National Library to contribute to the Librivox project. We would really appreciate it if you could help us find a Meta-Coordinator and proof listeners and guide us through the process of uploading our recordings to your website.
We have finished editing, noise removal, and adjustment to Librivox specifications for one complete project (a 1-minute clip is available for preview).
Additionally, we have 11 other separate edited recordings of approximately 30-45 minutes each in English, French, Romanian, Urdu, and Arabic. Our goal is to have 4 complete projects uploaded by August 2021.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Maryam Arabi
