well, you haven't lost your touch yet. It's perfectly PL ok. Good for starters The final scene was pictured so vividly that I can imagine it as a famous painting.neecheelok70 wrote: ↑July 30th, 2021, 5:01 amHere is Section 4. It is the first since forever.

thank you, Olly, these two stories were very well narrated, I enjoyed both of them I especially had to laugh at the end of the "sketch", the episode with the maid's handkerchief you changed your tone of voice from languid to cheerful there and that was a great touch. It gives the reader the impression that you also had trouble keeping the laugh from your voice well done.slavictatra wrote: ↑August 2nd, 2021, 12:21 amHi Everyone! I finally had the chance to upload my claimed sections, I hope they are good. If there is any huge mistake I may have missed, please let me know. I have run these both through the Checker program, and they have passed the required tests.

haha, this was original to write the article in a sort of ship's jargon, it was very funny to listen to. Thank you, Jim, yet another PL ok sectionneecheelok70 wrote: ↑August 3rd, 2021, 4:59 amHere is Section 12:

it's perfectly edited and PL ok nowslavictatra wrote: ↑August 4th, 2021, 12:21 amIt turns out, I read "writing" as "wilting" because the source text letters were slightly broken up
I have checked, and the fixed line should blend pretty well into the rest of my audio.
wow this was a long section April, and quite a difficult one, the topics being so diverse and complex. You did really great and I enjoyed the musings of an old bacheloradr6090 wrote: ↑August 7th, 2021, 8:47 amhttps://librivox.org/uploads/kitty/rover0118_05_various_128kb.mp3 30:26
Here is the section that I claimed, enjoy.
hey there, Aidan, no worries, you still have officially till the 12 September to finish your sections (two-month-deadline). But thanks for checking in. And of course no one is angry if you are done earliereveningwarmth wrote: ↑August 11th, 2021, 1:40 pmHello. I'm sorry for the delays. Could have an extension? I'll have it in next week.
Wow, so many corrections that I will be making. Thank you Sonia for letting me know just what I should be correcting. You were correct in the text not being all that perfect to determine just what certain words were.Kitty wrote: ↑August 8th, 2021, 4:24 amwow this was a long section April, and quite a difficult one, the topics being so diverse and complex. However I found a few differences to the text, I think part of it occured because the script is really difficult to decipher at some points and you probably had to guess at the meaning.
Here is what needs correcting:
> at 3:33: (p. 281) "&c &c" - is usually the abbreviation for "et cetera, et cetera" ("and so on and so forth", in English)
> at 6:23: (p. 281) "to a sordid centering in self" - I hear "to a war centering in itself"
> at 11:45: (p. 282) "everything can blast an infant blossom" - I hear something like "can be asked"
> at 16:33: (p. 282) "nor kneel unblessed" - you say "unbloomed"
> at 16:40: (p. 282) "its cheering track is lost to one" - you can cut "upon" at the beginning of the sentence
> at 21:35: (p. 283) "form the best introductory school for the pulpit" - you say "beat"
> at 23:20: (p. 283) "as are some of our modern pious who shrink" - I hear "pinous sees" or something
thanks
