Just a quick note to let you all know that Phil C is offline for a while, probably several weeks. He lives in Baton Rouge LA and got whacked by Ida. It sounds like he and his family are okay but it may be a while til he is back here. I’m gonna catch up on the outstanding PL and then I think this project is nearly through, but if anyone has any questions or concerns that you may have PM’d Phil about in the meantime, or have any that you need to ask but haven’t yet, let me know and I’ll see what I can do!

Well read!
Just a couple of notes:
—background noise level is 37.7…a little high. A round of noise reduction will help.

—7:15 — text is “as sentinels”, I hear “as centennials”

—8:25 — missing a sentence “Am I King of Fairyland?”

—16:02 — text is “possession”, I hear “position”
Colleen
Colleen. It appears that the reader will not be making these corrections. I took the liberty as MC of reducing the background noise and putting in the missing "am I King of Fairyland". I'll accept the readings of sentinels and possession as she read them, they are kinda close and don't ruin the meaning of the text in my opinion. Please listen and let me know if this will be OK. If you think it sounds too bad, we will just open up the section for someone else to record. No problem.

Another nice reading!
One small fix—
At 10:55 there’s some missing text between “at once her escape…” and “turned it over”
Colleen
Colleen. Have you heard from this reader? If she does not come back soon I will open up this section for someone else to record.

Hi Phil, I haven’t heard from her. It does not appear that she has logged in since 8/23.

Nice fix! I would not even have noticed it was a different voice if I didn’t know it! The other issues are minor and can stand. Thanks for doing the noise cleaning. I’ll go ahead and mark this one as PL OK!
