Verses of a V. A. D., by Vera Brittain (1893 - 1970)

Volunteers outside the USA: Vera Brittain died in 1970. This person's work may still be protected by copyright in countries where copyright duration is determined by the author's death date. In Europe this is 70 years; in Canada it is 50 years; and in Australia it is 70 years for authors who died after 1955.
This is a collection of poems by Vera M. Brittain, an Englishwoman, who served in World War I as a member of the Voluntary Aid Detachment (VAD). She worked as a nurse during the war. These poems are based on her wartime experiences. (Summary by mleigh)

All were well read. Just 2 corrections need
00 PL OK
02 at 0.07 left out the phrase "Read for Librivox.org by Larry Wilson"
03 PL OK, this poem brought tears to my eyes
09 PL OK
21 at 1:32, sounded like "...turns like a friend or foe", should be "And I learnt that human mercy turns alike to friend or foe"
