And it's green light for the launching of the next issue for the Black Cat. 8-)

Like for the previous issues, I want to keep this as a one-story-per-reader-project so we can have the maximum of voices in each magazine.

Looking forward to hearing this new batch of 5 stories. :9:

Had you thought the Scarlet Tanager was a superhero?

I am, yes I admit it, an old retired person now. Actually spent 3 hours yesterday at a birdwatching course (identification by habits, plumage, size, and shape)....

Thanks, Todd

 I see why you mention that. But no, I thought it was a sort of ship

I am bird-watching the birds I feed in my garden and it's plenty enough. I actually know all those local birds, the sparrows, blue-tits, robins and doves are the main customers in my restaurant. It's wonderful to watch (until the sparrows start fighting for the last bits  )

What I wouldn't like in "professional" bird watching is the ungodly hour they tend to get up, just to get this very rare picture of the horned night-owl or some such.

Have you seen this movie with Jack Black and Steve Martin about die-hard birdwatchers ? It's a funny movie. Let me know if you have reached that level of craziness yet:

Oh yes, I have seen that movie a half dozen times - usually with new people visiting who wonder what watching birds is all about...

And NO - I am not that sorta crazy.

Thanks, Todd

Part of yesterday's class was making sounds to attract birds: walking around going pish-pish pish-pish pish-pish. So even if you aren't crazy already, you look like you are.

Thanks, Todd
