Hello! I'm recording and came to a place where Percy sings. (top of pg. 53). Should I sing what he sings or just recite it?

Also I believe Katharina asked in an earlier comment if she could have chapters 7 and 8 as well.

Either way is fine! If you decide to sing, it does need to be a PD tune.

Nice job! There is one issue. Between 2:38 and 13:47 there is some noticeable background noise. Since it isn't in the entiretly of the file, I am going to guess a computer fan or an appliance came on during that time. I experimented on my end, and you should be able to get the majority of it out with some light noise cleaning.
Do you know how to do that? If so get your noise sample in a space where you aren't talking in that section. Let me know if you need some help.
I would try to figure out the source of it on your end to try to prevent it in the future.

Still 22:19
I had to change the pitch very slightly as the noise cancellation still left a trace squeal, but I think it sounds ok.
As for the background noise, I do have a fridge next to me, and my computer fan goes off every once in a while, plus I live in a busy section of the city so even with the windows shut there's some trace background noise. I'm not sure I can eliminate all background noise but I can try to scfub everything clean before submitting.

Sounds good! And it is PL OK!
We don't expect all noise to be eliminated, and I wouldn't say anything if it is not too bad. That one just sounded like an appliance or electronic, so good chance it was the fridge or the fan.

And here's section 6:

If this one clears, could I also have chapters 10 and 11?

Thank you! Everything is great, except it could use a light noise cleaning. It is definitely not the same noise as before, just some light "fuzz" shall we say ~ not a big deal, but some cleaning would be good!
I have assigned you 10 and 11. Thank you!

Hi Maria,
Yes I can hear the fuzz. Sorry I'm still trying to figure out noise reduction to a certain extent. I think it's good now though. I discovered the "sensitivity" slide which I think I had messed with, and experimenting with it helped.
Here's with the edit (time still 10:30):
