Oh yes, all that terrain exists. You can find Magalloway River and Plantation (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magalloway_River, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magalloway_Plantation,_Maine), Upton, Dead Diamond, and even Lost Brook (https://mapcarta.com/22286828). Lost Brook Trail, maybe not....

She should have gotten the food and toys and gone home to celebrate with her kids and the hubby could have struggled to pay for his debts.

true, but with such stories I can't help thinking that the women are a lot to blame as well...for being too weak.
