Hi there,

Here is my recording of Act 1- could use some feedback, and it continuously fails in the checker but I don't know why.https://librivox.org/uploads/triciag/Act_1_Genius_of_Acadia_3.mp3

Also, I just realized I will have to re-do because I forgot to include my name etc.

The only thing I see that would cause a warning in Checker is upper case letters in the file name. It's not a big deal on a project like this since your file won't be used all by itself like in a regular book project. :)
School fiction: David Blaize

Serial novel: The Wandering Jew

PL Notes for Genius of Acadia

Acts 1, 3 and 5 are PL OK

Act 2
In the MW it states read all for act 2 so there are some missing lines please.

Swe-e-e-t!

God doth rule thee

What need we care whither?

Act 4

The pronunciation of

Kyrie eleison!

and

Crist eleison

Please can you check the pronunciation guide at the following link
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3qKt04pwa-s

The volume is 58dB which is too low. We aim for between 86-92 dB but ideally we would like it to be at 89 dB.
In Audacity you will also find the option to amplify under 'effects'.
How to amplify in Audacity: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_z607awyLw
If you like you can use the checker tool to verify volume and other settings.

After much delay (sorry), here are all the readings for "War":
https://librivox.org/uploads/triciag/acadia_war_1.mp3 (00:34)
https://librivox.org/uploads/triciag/acadia_war_2.mp3 (00:38)
https://librivox.org/uploads/triciag/acadia_war_3.mp3 (00:46)
https://librivox.org/uploads/triciag/acadia_war_4.mp3 (01:29)

I've heard that my name (Mark) can mean "warlike," so it's nice to finally live up to that.
I'm also very curious to find out how everyone else read "Swe-e-e-t!" on page 10...
Thanks!
