Excuse me, am I the only one to see the recording`s lenght 00:53 (53 seconds) and to hear only a little piece of that chapter, clicking in the Magic Window the button "listen" for that chapter (10)?
I use Chrome.

Thanx! 💖

No, that is correct. It is a faulty upload (and you were the one to notice, because that's your job 8-) )

Happiness1, please re-upload.

Great; thank you! 🦗
Happiness1, please re-upload.
Our pleasant private correspondence about that question makes me think it will not be easy...
Well, good luck! To all of us! ✨🌞

Sec 13 PL notes:

The volume falls outside of the target range (86–92 dB); actually, it is 83.8 dB.
02:15 – “Willie Tyson” – I hear - “Willie Nilson” (p. 78 of the book)

The rest is good. 💫
Again this was a fun chapter to read. Very eventful and I hope, fun for the listener.

Not a bad one, that`s true! 🍏
Thank you all for the opportunity to be a part of this work.
Yeah, it`s a nice project! Thank you too! 🍇

Sec 00 PL notes:

3,2 sec of silence at the start, instead of
Leave 0.5 to 1 second of silence at the beginning.
Section title is
Introduction; From Mr. Wordsworth’s notes to his series of sonnets on the river Duddon; Memoir of the Rev. Robert Walker
And you read only “Intoduction” in the intro.

Regular & considerable unevennesses of sound create some discomfort for the listener. I suppose you are a newbie in the recording; if so, I advise you to work with some correspondent tools. Most of them, I believe, we can let go, but I absolutely invite you to avoid them in the future.
However, that of 07:17 has to be levelled in some way.

17:46 – “and affording to his reader” – I hear - “according” (p. xviii of the book)
52:45 – repeated words in “homespun materials were made up into apparel by their own hands. At” (p. xxxvi of the book)
01:09:54 – repeated “His house was a nursery of virtue. All the inmates were industrious, and cleanly, and happy.” (p. xliii of the book)

The rest is good. I absolutely believe that working more with postrecording, you`ll make your works even better.
Be happy, Ron! 🐘

This section also falls outside the acceptable volume range. I recommend you use the compressor effect in Audacity to even things out. https://sites.google.com/site/librivideo/for-volunteers/recording#13

Though Checker tells us it, in the same time the same Checker shows its volume to be of 92.0 dB, what is exactly the upper acceptable limit. It`s the only reason I didn`t mention that.
However, you`re right, it will be good to work over that. 🌻
