Section 2 - nicely read!

Please make it a mono file. :) The volume is a bit high, but I won't quibble about that.

Interesting stuff.

Error made in the export. One day I'll remember to change it. Updated mono file. I even dropped the volume, just a little. ;)

Are you using Audacity? You could simply record in mono; then you wouldn't have to remember to force it to mono on export.

Preferences > Devices > Recording > Channels: change to "1 - (mono)"

Whoa - volume dropped way too low. It was at about 92.5 before (about 3 dB too high); now it's at 80.7 (about 8 dB too low). Put 'er back where she was, and we'll call it square.

I use a different program to record and tried to make my edits AND export from it and just didn't change my settings.

This one should be on the money though. Hopefully. Maybe this is a sign I need to do these more.

Let me know if you aren't thrilled by my efforts at describing the illustrations. :?
(That's why they're ILLUSTRATIONS. )

Section 9: "Chapter 5B: Psychological Warfare in World War I, part 2" (19:13)

https://librivox.org/uploads/triciag/psychologicalwarfare_09_linebarger_128kb.mp3

I'd like to take section 15, "Propaganda Intelligence".

Speaking of illustrations, besides the many photos in section 15, and the leaflets which you've already said should not be read, there are several organizational charts (Charts V through IX) which don't have any explanatory caption text except for a mention of what the source was— since any further description of the chart would basically be the chart. Please let me know if you have any advice about these.

May I claim Sections 24 and 25:

Ch 14a and Ch 14b?

This is a fascinating read. Thank you for finding it!

Thanks!

Those charts are actually in chapter 10 (sections 18 & 19), not in chapter 8 (section 15). And I think the captions in 15 are interesting; feel free to read them. :) But they're referenced in the main body of the text (such as, "Success was not due to the formal structure of the Office of War Information (see charts V, VI)." and "The War Department participation in the control and planning of psychological warfare is shown by Chart VII, which represents the situation as of 1945.") I'm okay with leaving the description of the charts themselves out of the recording.
