Adjust in Audacity. You may need to record a sentence or two for the first and third points, but that will be so much easier than recording over.

However, I've just realized you didn't include the author's name in the introduction. You should edit in the words...

...between "in the public domain" and "chapter 18 A Cousinly Quarrel." That's near the 18 second point in the recording. Sorry I didn't notice this earlier.

I see there is a slight filename error: tail - singular, not tails - plural. I suspect Phil can fix this, though.

I'll PL these two chapters after 17 and 18.

Thank you - chapter 18 - A Cousinly Quarrel - PL OK.
I love this part: Simon's call summoned Solomon. But not once did Solomon's summon Simon. Lots of S words in there.

Chapter 11 was uploaded as two tracks instead of mono. "Left" contains the whole track you want, while "right" does not have the intro and outro. You can rescue this by splitting the stereo tracks, throwing away the left track, centering the left-right slider and re-exporting as mono. You can then upload with the corected file name: taleofsolomonowl_11_bailey_128kb.mp3

This is my second recording for LibriVox but as I only just uploaded the other one today as well I have not gotten any feedback yet. I had a lot of fun doing this. Please give me any advice you feel I need on this. I look forward to doing more recordings for Librivox.

Chapter 12 is the proper mono. The opening silence should be 1/2 to 1 second rather than the 1.5 seconds you have. You could trim that and use the opportunity to upload the chapter with the proper file name: taleofsolomonowl_12_bailey_128kb.mp3

Everything else about the chapter is fine.

Both chapters 11 and 12 are marked See PL notes for now.
