Quick update: I've edited two of my scenes. Just need a correction from Brad before I can get the third one in.

Now I will assemble Act 1 and hopefully get it out to Sonia, in case she has time to PL this weekend.

Edit: Act 1 is now ready!

Oops, I forgot I still needed to make that correction. Thanks for the reminder.

I got to it right away and was very curious to hear the new additions to our group :9: excellent job of the old voices and the new ones. Though the whole political aspect was still very confusing to me as I barely know any of the characters  nevertheless the plots starts to unfold.

Excellently edited too, can be marked PL ok.

An optimal start !

At last, I have finished the very long 2_4, clocking in at 33:22

https://librivox.org/uploads/kitty/1henryiv_2_4.mp3

The place to add your "Francis!" is at 5:10 as per my previous suggestion.

As well, I decided it might be fun to add a snore for Falstaff after he is found sleeping near the end of the scene. It starts at 31:45, at first slightly loud, then fading a bit and continuing till the end of the scene, quiet enough so as not to obscure the dialog. I also saved a backup without the snore in case it is decided it's too much, or not needed.

I'll try to get my remaining scenes edited before the weekend is over.

Had a listen to 2.4 and it's brilliantly pieced together, Brad! Thank you for the extra touch of the snoring at the end, too. It really makes you feel that Falstaff is still onstage with Hal and Peto, even though he has no lines. PL OK, and I will get to assembling Act 2.

In the meantime I've finished editing my last scene, so we now have three left to edit: two from Craig and one from Brad.

How's that for timing? Ten minutes after your last post I was uploading my last scene. Here is.

I believe that's it for me, baring any corrections. I'll get started on my next Dickens solo and be on the lookout for the commencement of Henry IV, part two!

Perfect! That means Act 5 is ready to assemble, as well. However, it's likely I'll only get to it tomorrow. Hard to believe it's only been a month and we're almost done!

 wow it sounds excellent. I highly enjoyed the intro scene already, and my compliments to the ladies here, because you make the "male" voices and manners wonderfully well. Ye all sound like rogues

and the very famous king's dialogue with Falstaff and Hal was of course a treat. And Brad seems to be able to snore quite convincingly

Totally PL ok. This was a long act !

Act 5 is ready and up in the MW for PL. Sorry that you have to jump to the end, Sonia; I promise it's a worthy finale lol.

We just need Craig to finish editing his two scenes and I'll be able to do the last two acts. Let us know if you need any assistance, Craig. But there's no hurry, either, so don't feel pressured to rush.

I don't mind in what order I read the story  Act 5 is excellently assembled and acted out. Wow, an action-packed battle scene.

Totally PL ok.

You were ultra fast in this project, guys.

I've uploaded the provisionally edited
https://librivox.org/uploads/kitty/1henryiv_3_3.mp3

There are a couple of issues, that I should have picked up on the PL.

Falstaf_3_3 is PLOK

We are missing a few lines for the narration.

11:33 Exit Hostess
12.38 Exit Bardolph
12:46 Exit Peto

It will be easy for me to adjust with just these lines.
