Hi Icequeen,

this is what I got for chapter#23

Try using boyscoutsdownindixie_23_carter_128kb as your file name. It looks like there are spaces in your file name, which should not be there. Also, make sure you are uploading a mp3 file, the uploader will not take the Audacity file.

Chapter 6 is PL OK!

Chapter 23 needs some edits.

The file needs some noise cleaning, the background level is currently at 51 dB.

The beginning silence needs to be cut down to half a second.

At :32 the title of the chapter, "The Anchor to Windward," needs to be added.

18:35 there is a stumble that needs to be cut out.

20:45-23:22 you start a sentence, then there is an extremely long pause, then at 23:22 you start that same sentence again. The first sentence needs to be cut out along with that almost 3 minutes of silence.

24:34-:40 is a stumble.

26:28-27:02 is a long silence, then you read the intro again. You need to cut that out and simply say, "End of chapter 23," with 5 seconds of silence following it.

ETA: And, chapter 23 is open as well, since the reader has not done the edits, and there is too much for me to take care of that one.

So can I delete chapter 23 from my folder, where I found it and didn't know what it was all about?
