Ok, I see what you mean. I think that doing each of these at the end of a stanza would be fine. We'll have a stanza about each stone, followed by a commentary on it. I think it will have a kind of rhythm and pattern of its own.

The only problem I see is with footnotes 6 and 7, which are both in the same stanza. Footnote 7 wouldn't make much sense if it's too far removed from the main text. So there, I think you could finish the stanza: "...Mystery to explain," and then "Footnote." Read footnote 7. Then read footnote 6. I don't think we'd need a separation between them, other than just a short pause. Then "End of footnote" and move on to the Chrysolite.

Incidentally, this hymn and all the information contained in it looks fascinating! I'm excited to hear what will be said about each stone.

Thank you, it sounds great! There are a couple of minor edits to be made. I like how you chose to introduce the second footnote. I had been debating what would be the best way to indicate that it applied to both of the last two stanzas, or if it mattered even. Well done!

As to the background noise, I couldn't hear it while listening, but I do also see that there is more there than would be ideal. Possibly, if I was listening with better speakers or headphones, it would be noticeable. It couldn't hurt to run one more light round of noise cleaning when you apply these other changes.

0:30 There are two instances of the title here, "Vexilla Regis Prodeunt." One of these can be cut.
2:13 The words "End of footnote" should be added here to indicate the conclusion of the footnote.
3:24 Word switch. I hear "With fragrance dropping from every bough." Should be "With fragrance dropping from each bough."
4:23 The words "End of footnote" should be added here to indicate the conclusion of the footnote.

Nicely done! Our friend Rev. Neale doesn't seem to like the structure of this one, but I actually really do. There are a couple of minor issues to address.

Opening silence too short. It's best to have 0.5-1 seconds of leading silence before you begin speaking. This is to avoid audio players cutting off the first little bit of your speech. Just copy/paste about half a second of silence in.
0:25 Missing part of the section title, as stated in the MW. Please add "Venerable Bede. Died 735." (This is taken from the table of contents, if you're wondering why I'm insisting on something not printed on the page you're reading. )
3:32 I kind of like what you did with the footnote, but on the other hand, I'd like to maintain some consistency with footnotes throughout the book. So if you would please, just add "Footnote." to the beginning of it and "End of footnote." to the end of it. Then you can cut the whole thing and plop it down at about 3:08, after the end of that stanza.
