May I have Sections 8-11?

EDIT: Make that sections 9-11! (I didn't see until after I posted that someone else already had section 8!)

Well, other than: "I've read all these numbers and still don't know how big the thing really is" I'm fine with them.

What really drove me crazy on my US holiday was that "miles per gallon" measurement. I drive rentals, how do I know how many gallons I have space for in my tank? And how much is that anyway? In Europe, we use "liters per 100 km", which is so much more sensible. :P
Cheers, Ava.

Welcome! I'll hold this for you, but please do the 1-minute test before digging into this section.

How would you like to be credited in the catalog? There are places for a catalog name (some use a nickname or forum name, some their real name) and a link to a personal web site or blog, if you have one. I recommend using whatever name you say (if any) when you say, "recorded by [your name]" as that's how listeners will look for you. (Keep in mind that prospective employers, classmates, enemies, etc. can also find you using the catalog name, so be cautious if privacy might be an issue.)

Someone else claimed this a couple posts earlier. :) Would you be interested in section 13?

I am just sounding out "Thiokol" like THEA - 0 - COAL. Does anyone know if that is the correct pronunciation of the company that made the O-Ring?

Others have been pronouncing it THIGH-uh-call. Which pronunciation is right? I don't know.

I found the pronunciation here -
https://howjsay.com/how-to-pronounce-thiokol
and that's the one I've been using.
(I have found both howjsay and forvo useful when I wonder how to pronounce a word.)
