Consider recording the sentence over again and then patch it into place. A sentence patch is almost always going to sound better than a word patch. If you use Audacity, here is a video on the process. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AMHG6WbiEYg

Better i hope, though the sound is a little different
PL note:
I will wait for your confirmation, as the added sentence is a bit lower volume than the rest. I appreciate it that you obviously did what linny recommended - to patch the whole sentence. Still, I will wait for a few days to see if you would like to take it as the final version before updating it as PL OK.
Many thanks for your continual efforts!
Regards,
Jessie

It is perfect! It is PL OK. And thank you for all your efforts in making a perfect recording for this project!
If, as many of us wish, we could do more series of this book, I hope to hear your readings again!

Jessie

I hope so! There are 2 more Charlotte Mason volumes; I only hope we can find them on public domain...I think Linny actually scanned this one in to archive.org herself! (Wow!) I am definitely on board for the next volumes.
Thank YOU to all my respected readers! Can't wait to listen to your readings!!! Many thanks to Tracia for working on the last leg for this audiobook to be out there!
Best,
Jessie
