Just a few notes:

15:35 noise (editing cue?)
23:40 noise, repeat
26:03 noise, repeat
42:21 noise (sneeze?)

Thanks,

Thanks, no problem. There's something I need to verify, though. The new file is 17 seconds shorter than the original one, which is a bigger change than I would expect based on the PL notes. Are there any other changes I need to spot PL?

Michael,

Thanks. Viewed my reader page. Looks good. As a newbie, one question I had on my section - is there a standard guide for pronouncing names, references to books, etc. or as I suspect, is it incumbent upon the reader to search those out - as indeed he/she would if operating independently.

Thanks.

When I went in to edit as well as the word repeat there was also the additional line so once they have been taken out it reduces the file by quite a bit so I have checked and this is the right length. Hope that makes sense.

Hi John,

Pronunciation is generally left to the reader's discretion. We don't expect perfection. If you need help, we have a thread for pronunciation questions, and some popular resources are listed in its first message:

viewtopic.php?f=23&t=40285

Also, you'd welcome to direct pronunciation questions related to this book to me, either in this thread or via PM (I think you may need to post a couple more messages to be able to use PM). I believe I should be able to handle most of them.

Oh, I see what happened. I noted the editing cue at 15:35 in my PL notes, but not the repeat that followed it and which accounted for the time difference. Thanks for noticing the repeat. PL OK!

Michael,

Thanks. I've used several of those sources. Just wanted to be certain I was in the ballpark.

Take care,

John

Section 43, please. I'm looking for some light reading. (This has the inquisition, right?)

Lovely, thanks! But please don't expect the Spanish Inquisition. It's just not done.

Hi - I am almost finished with sections 25/26. 25 is done. 26 is 75% edited. Expect you'll have them today or tomorrow. Ran into a tech problem and could not use a whole section, so had to re-record it. Live and learn! Thanks for your patience. Be well and safe.
