Kalamareader wrote: October 23rd, 2020, 2:35 pm Hi again,

I had so much fun with the last one, I just felt I had to do another one. As I looked though the available ones, section 22, Titania caught my attention. It sounds like it could have been the next good step in he life of the narrator of The Old Men Sit by Me :D

Thanks,

Wayne
Thank you, Wayne, great to have you back for an encore!

We’re getting such a wonderful buy-in to this poetry project, that I’d better get my skates on and choose a poem myself!

I think I’ll go with “The Muses of Australia”.

Wow, that was everything I hoped it would be! I am a man of my word, so I won't request an encore from you, but let me just say that you have definitely left the audience wanting more.

PL-OK.

Speaking for yourself much, eh? :P

As I said, I'm really not into poetry. I probably missed 23 layers in this one.
So, let's keep this an occasional, very rare ... something, okay?
Cheers, Ava.

Hi Sam!

I see from the "Number 1" on your posts count that you are new to Librivox, so firstly, Welcome!

For the time being, I can reserve you the "Atlas" poem for one month. This will give you the time to complete your one-minute-test, which we recommend, before you start recording anything in a project.

The test's purpose is to check that your technical settings are all up to LV standard. You can read all about it here: https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=1-Minute_Test

Please post the test in the Listeners Wanted forum: viewforum.php?f=21 and someone will check it and give you feedback or advice if needed.

As soon as the test is ok'ed, please post the results back here, and then I can assign you the sections officially.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. :)

Good luck with the test !
