Oh I totally underestimated the whole process when I first started as well! But now I find I really enjoy every part! Edits were great, thank you!

There is just 2 very simple things that I still need you to correct and then you will be in tip-top shape!

Beginning- I'm still seeing about 1.5 seconds before you start speaking. Can you cut out a little to make it closer to 0.5 to 1 second?

Ending- I'm seeing 6 seconds of silence at the end. Can you cut it down to about 5?

I'm very much enjoying having something a little different to learn and do...Third times a charm?

Sending In Chapter 3 What Happened When Tommy Became a Mink - run time 20:40. I tried the checker and I think my volume may be a little low, but I would love advice on how to increase it. I tried to Amplify and it won't let me go any further. Is there a way to decrease the spikes so the overall volume can be increased? Thanks!!

Well, you are right, this is a tad below our lower limit.
Try this: Highlight the entire file. From the Effect menu select Limiter. I think the default is -3.0 dB. Then you should be able to use the Amplify feature to bring it up.

Also, please adjust the silence. At the beginning - less than one second (This is just a tad over). At the end we need ~ five seconds, and you have ~ three.
But, very nice reading. :)

Let me know how this works.
Just upload your new file under the same file name, and post the link here again with the new file length.

Done! This one was fun and I'm eager to see if I messed anything up. I am wondering if I need to compress anything to make the range a little less dynamic? Or if it's fine?

Beautiful job! Just a few very easy fixes for you:

4:42 and 4:56- repeat of "At length he found the place where the animal was in the habit..."; first one can be cut

12:30 and 12:34- repeat of "He shuffled along behind Bobby Coon..."; first one can be cut

I didn't think you needed to apply compression, though I do admit I still don't have a firm grasp on compression
